MyPass is committed to keeping your data secure. With the introduction of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), we're enhancing the security of your portal.
MFA will be enabled on 12 November 2024 for selected customers who have been informed in advance. A phased rollout will follow, and other customers will receive a communication to confirm the activation date of MFA on their portal.
Important Notes:
- The authentication code is valid for 10 minutes only.
- An authentication attempt for any expired codes will be rejected.
- You will be prompted to proceed with email authentication (2FA) every time you login unless you have previously opted to remember your device for 30 days.
- If you select to remember the device for 30 days and your session times out after 30 mins, you will not be asked to re-verify your email. You will need to re-verify if you are timed out after another 30 mins i.e. 60 mins since the last verification.
- MFA does not impact any users who are using a single sign-on (SSO).
How MFA works?
- Login to your MyPass account using your credentials.
- Click Log in.
- An authentication code will be sent to your email.
- Enter the authentication code in the field provided to verify your email address.
- Check the box next to Remember this device for 30 days to avoid re-authentication on the same device for the next 30 days.
Note: This option does not work in incognito browser mode.
- If you do not receive the code, click Send a new code to request another one.
- Click Verify to complete the authentication process.
