MyPass Skills Matrices allow you to map skills and compliance requirements to a role.
We recommend creating a spreadsheet to outline your positions and their corresponding requirements. For each requirement, determine what degree of compliance is required for at recruitment stage and full compliance (inductions once they are confirmed to a role).
Navigate to Skill Matrices in the left hand navigation bar. Select the icon.
Assign a name to your matrix, and add a description if necessary. Creating an appropriate name for your matrix will allow you to easily identify your matrices within the MyPass workflow. Click Next. |
|
You can assign your matrix to a desired resource pool OR you can click through by selecting Next. |
|
Assign your matrix to an asset if you've created and are using assets in your MyPass portal, or skip this step and click Next. |
Add position
Start adding positions by clicking on the Add position.
Add the Name of the Position. Code (optional) if you use a code for identification purposes. Add a description (optional) of the position that you want to add or specify. Click save |
Add Requirements
Once you have added your positions start to Add Requirements. These are the certifications needed for the positions. Requirements can be added as an individual certificate or as a certificate requirement group.
For individual certificates
Choose certificates from a specific library, or search all available libraries by typing details in the field to see options. For more information on certificate libraries go to Certificate Library Overview.
Click Next. |
By selecting Custom Requirement you are able to update/add a Requirement Group.
|
In the Type field, choose the condition to apply:
|
Optionally, you can select to add a custom validity period for your chosen certificate or click Save. |
From the table, set each requirement as Mandatory, Desired, or Not Required.
Click the dropdown arrow to make your selection.
- Select Mandatory if the certificate is required for the worker to be compliant with the assigned position.
- Select Desired if the certificate is optional, but not required for compliance, though still preferred.
- Select Not Required if the certificate is no longer needed, and you wish to remove it from the list of position requirements.
If the requirement level (mandatory, desired) is the same for both Recruitment and Compliance, toggle on both buttons. Otherwise, select them one at a time to set the requirement level.
