Create Certificate Groups

Certificate Groups allow you to bundle multiple certificates into a single, reusable requirement. You can set the group to require all certificates or just any certificate to fulfill the requirement. These groups can then be applied across different skills matrices.

Note: You must have an Internal Library set up in MyPass to store certificate groups. If you haven't created one yet, go to Create a Certificate Library for more information.

To create a Certificate Group in MyPass, start by logging in and navigating to Settings. In the Settings menu, select Certificate Groups and click the + icon to begin creating a new group.

You'll be prompted to choose a Library where the group will be stored, click Next.

Enter the name of the certificate or requirement group, e.g. 'Safety Certifications.'

Set Group Requirement:

Choose whether all certificates in the group must be valid,

or if any certificate in the group can be valid to meet the requirement.

To add certificates to the group, click Add a Certification

Search for the certificate by name, then select the desired certificate from the list to add it to the group, you can also Filter by Library

Set a Validity Period (Optional)  and enter the number of months or days the certificate will remain valid.

If you need to add more certificates, click Add a Certification and repeat the process.

To edit the validity period click on the icon, or the icon to delete the certificate.

Once all the necessary certificates have been added, click Save.

To edit or delete a certificate group, click on the ellipsis icon (...)

Note: You can also add a certificate group directly in a skills matrix by selecting Add Requirement and then Custom Requirement within the Skills Matrix you wish to edit. To learn more about creating a Skills Matrix, go to Create a Skills Matrix.
