How to Download a Report via Email Link

When you export a report from your MyPass portal, you will receive an email containing a download link. The email link is valid for 24 hours. Once you click it, you have 30 minutes to download your report.

This article explains how the download works, including what to expect when the link expires or when you are not logged in.

Downloading your report

Open the email from MyPass and click the download link.

If you are already logged into the portal, you are taken to the Download screen and the report starts downloading automatically.

The Download screen displays a Try Again link. You can use this to re-download the report as many times as needed within 30 minutes of the original link being created.

The download link has expired

The download link is valid for 30 minutes from the time it was created.

If you click Try Again after 30 minutes, a message appears confirming the link has expired. No further download is possible from that link.

To download the report again, you will need to generate a new export from the portal.

Not logged in to the MyPass portal

If you are not currently logged into the portal when you click the report download link in your email, you are redirected to the login page.

Enter your credentials and log in. Once authenticated, the download starts automatically.

Note: The email download link can only be used once. If you click the same link a second time after already downloading the report, a message appears confirming the link has expired. Click Return to MyPass to go back to the Personnel page to initiate new report requests.

No permission to download

If your account does not have the required permissions, clicking the download link will display the message "You don't have permission to download this file."

No report will be downloaded. Contact your other portal administrators to verify your access permissions.
