The Damstra Learning integration automatically synchronises course completion data between your Damstra Learning LMS and MyPass. This direct LMS connection eliminates manual certificate entry, ensuring that when your personnel complete training, their certifications appear in MyPass in near real-time.
Note: This integration requires API access to be enabled for your MyPass account. If you don't currently have API permissions, contact support@mypassglobal.com and we'll enable it as part of the setup process.

How Course Completion Sync Works
- Completion Trigger: A personnel finishes a course in Damstra Learning, triggering a webhook notification.
- Attainment Creation: The attainment is instantly created in the personnel's MyPass profile, and the system distinguishes between a renewal and a duplicate based on the completion date.
- Auto-Verification: The attainment is automatically verified only if the certificate name and the personnel's full name match exactly in both systems.
Course and Name Matching Requirements
- Course Naming Alignment: Course names in Damstra and MyPass must match exactly for the system to auto-verify. Any mismatch will cause the attainment to require manual verification.
- User Name Discrepancies: If a personnel's name is slightly different between the systems (e.g., "Chris" vs. "Christopher"), the attainment will be created in MyPass but flagged as Pending Verification (requiring human intervention).
- New Course Rollout: When rolling out a new course, ensure to create an item in your Internal Library in MyPass with the exact same name as the course in Damstra.
New Personnel Management
- Notification: For new personnel, you will use the shared email template to send the MyPass team the personnel's first name, last name, Damstra username, and MyPass email address. This information is needed to manually link the accounts.
- Record Creation: The MyPass Team will create new records in MyPass where no match is found for the new personnel.
- Data Cleaning: You may need to manually archive any old, duplicate certifications in MyPass that now exist as automated records from Damstra.

System Limitations
- No Code-Based Matching: Matching is limited to the certificate name only (Damstra Learning does not support certificate codes).
- No Self-Service Mapping: Personnel linking requires MyPass team involvement (no customer UI for self-service mapping). Download the Worker Mapping Template, complete it with your worker details, and send it to support@mypassglobal.com.
- Failure Notification: MyPass has internal alerting for failures. However, please contact MyPass Support right away if you notice any certificates missing from a profile.
