Manage External Role Applications

You can set your project roles to be public, allowing you to advertise them externally on online job forums. This feature enables interested candidates who are not part of your existing resource pools to apply for open roles. 

When candidates access the posted link, they’ll see a summary of the role. Clicking on the role details will direct them to Apply. If they aren’t logged into their Skills Passport account, they’ll be asked to log in. If they don’t have an existing MyPass account, they’ll be asked to create one before applying. 

Once a candidate applies, they will appear in the Applied bucket for the relevant project role.

Note: You cannot offer or confirm a candidate until they have been added to your resource pool. The lock icon indicates that the personnel is not currently part of any resource pool.

Add a Candidate to a Resource Pool

1. In the Applied bucket, select the candidate by checking the box next to their name (or use the bulk selection option for multiple candidates).

2. Click the More button.

3. Select Assign To Pools.

4. Tick the relevant pool where you would like to assign the candidate.

5. Click Save.

Once assigned to a resource pool, the lock icon disappears, and you can proceed to Offer or Confirm the personnel.
